General description:
The new “AR” tunnel from Frigo Impianti is a very compact machine, which requires less space for installation, intended for producers of egg pasta, with and without fillings.
This “drop” tunnel is able to operate in a continuous line and provide, inside a single cold room, both the low-temperature drying cycle (at 25 to 28°C) and the cooling cycle (at 0 to +4°C), avoiding the possibility of contamination of the product by external factors and, thus, increasing its shelf-life and quality. In fact, many tests performed on a variety of products demonstrate that the bacterial load measured at the end of pasteurization remains unaltered until the packaging phase, which occurs with a product at a temperature lower than 4°C.
In addition to this, the “AR” Tunnel provides significant energy savings thanks to its “heat recovery system,” which exploits the hot gas produced by the refrigeration unit to produce the dry air necessary at the first “drying” stage.
Technical features:
The tunnel's principal technical characteristics are:
- a structure divided into two parts constructed entirely from stainless steel with special techniques for ensuring proper sanitization during washing;
- a frame with staggered surfaces that allow the product to drop from one surface to another;
- a conveyor belt made of certified polyethylene.
The handling system is driven by a single motor, which moves all the rotating shafts to pull the belt of each surface.
Electrical control:
The control system consists of a control panel equipped with a touch screen controller that regulates the speed of the conveyor belt, the air and the temperature. |
